Finally got my BT back. I bought it at an Estate auction and it was beat. I decided to do something a little different and using (about 85% inletted) wood I bought on TS.com. I had it refurbished. It is a 1971 gun. New internals, new bluing, new butt pad. Got too much into it. I probably should have put a new gold plated trigger in it. Anyone have one for sale very reasonable? LOP is set at 15" can go out a little more and will go down to 14". Bulge. Interested in your thoughts?

bulge, the new gold triggers are aluminum. Stick with what you have.

Not going to lose that in the rack!

Was the forend originally a beavertail on a '71?

I am usually a purist, but I like it.

The black in the stock & forend tie right in to the dark bluing, and then the color pops.

Yes, originally the front end was a beavertail. Had to replace all hardware in the front end. Bulge.

The color in the photos is deceiving. It is actually a very nice shade of Red. Bulge.
