    Browning

The ones surrounding the firing pin hole on a BT-99+ (and I'm guessing other guns too). What are they for? Big deal if they're plugged? If so, how do you get to them to clean them out?

    Thanks

Yep, firing pin bushing. If you think they need cleaned out, toothpick and solvent.

Brownell's sells this spanner wrench. Its used to remove plug to replace firing pin/spring.

Can anyone tell me when Browning started using this external firing pin bushing, or did the first BT-99's have them?

I have an almost new-in-box 1987 BT with 3 pin holes, and an older one with 2 pin holes.
