    I suggest that you remove the buttstock and give the triggerworks a good cleaning with kerosene. Then lubricate lightly with Breakfree CLP.

    It's possible that some object has gotten something fouled in the action.

    They are harder to open when both triggers must be reset. Try only the upper. If it is ok try only the bottom. If it is also ok then you do not have a problem.

    Mine used to be hard to open towards the end of a doubles round when new. Keep it lubed up and it will slowly get better- I'm assuming it gets stiffer when it heats up. Dan
