Is it a tough job to replace the main or hammer springs and also the top lever spring spring? Also when is it a good time to replace the trigger piston spring ejector hammer springs and the small springs in forarm under the ejector hammers?

Top lever spring is held in place by a screw. I mad a tool to take out the hammer springs by cutting a notch in screw driver. The part #45 B1334295 MAINSPRING PLUNGER fits into the notch, and decompress the spring is all you have to do. 10Tenner

The top lever spring is fairly easy to replace. Just go ahead and unscrew the attachment. You will need a thin bit screw driver set. The spring will come right out of the gun.

Look into the receiver and you will see a recess for the spring. Install the spring and the retainer. Push in with the srew driver and get the screw started. After the screw is in 10 or so turns, operate the top lever and the spring will seat on the retainer.

Then go ahead and tighten up the screw.

If you shoot Nobel or Fiocchi primers and have failures to fire, you might use the Wolff Gunsprings Extra Power mainspring on the bottom (right) hammer.

These springs can be had from Brownell's or from the Wolff website.

Im considering the spring kit that was posted here not to long ago. I bought my gun used, from previous owner well used. I have put 10k through it myself already, no problems yet, just think its time.
