The customer has not seen this yet and I hope that he likes it. Browning XT Combo set featuring Black Walnut supplied by the customer. Black walnut although it has been used for a long time is still a beautiful piece of wood to make a stock out of. Sorry for the bad light I am going to have to change our photo area. The new finish that Mike has been using has more gloss than before and it is picking up everything in the background. Cindy and the customer worked together to come up with a mixture of checkering from several different designs. She did an outstanding job with this one. My thanks to all The Crew for continuing to put out top quality work. Thank you for taking the time to look.

This one is mine!!!!!! It came out even prettier than I had hoped. Thanks again to Ron Baker for selling me this awesome piece of wood. Thanks to Dennis and the boys for their dedication and attention to detail. And last but not least, thanks to the Queen of checkering, Mrs. Cindy DeVault.

This is almost as beautiful as my wife.

If it shoots just half as good as it looks, it will make you a winner.

    Nice job Dennis.

Beautiful job. The wood must have cost more than the gun.

Take another look at the wood to metal fit. Just aother sign that the DeVault crew does outstanding work.

Dennis, I know black walnut is dense, but is it heavier than some of the other walnuts?

Actually I got the wood at a really nice price from Ron Baker. I thought about it long and hard and I decided that with my limited budget it made more sense to spend the money on a custom stock rather than buy a fancy gun that does not fit. I am very pleased with my decision.

I am so excited. I have been tracking UPS and as of 4:44 this morning it is on the truck and on it's way to my house. Delivery by the end of day. Jack, if I ask nice you think Mark will open up the club just for me? LOL OK I will have to wait until tomorrow.
