Just bought a Browning XT Combo 32/34. I went and determined the POI for the barrels tonight. Is it typical for the single barrel to shoot a little higher than the double barrel?

Don't know how they are set out of the box, but that's how we purposely set my son's up.

The O/U is about 60/40 (bth barrels same) and we set-up the Unsingle for 90/10.

if you look at the rib demensions of the two barrels you can see that the single barrel has alot more downward taper than the over/under barrels. there for wiht hthe comb set in the same position the single barrel would shoot higher than the over/under barrels. BYG

What is the reason for the top single to shoot higher than the over/under? Is the single set up to shoot higher for handicaps?

Can anyone answer why the O/U set has a higher rib than a standard XT O/U barrel?
