#10008S69 Can anyone tell me what year this gun was made? Also need to know the grades that the superposed guns came in. Thanks, Bulge.

Unloader, Bought the gun at an estate auction. Hardly used. 3 quail on one side and a dog pointing a pheasant on the other all in gold. Heavy releif engraving on the full gun. Seems like it was shot very little if at all. Very nice high gloss finish. Do you know an approximate value? Thanks, Bulge.

Bulge, check your Superposed for long tang or short tang, almost everyone agreed there're no salt wood on long tang Superposed.

Superposed were made in Standard, Pigeon, Pointer, Diana, & Midas grades from '60~'76.

Midas grade has ducks and pheasants on frame, and quail on the bottom with gold inlaid. Firing pins and ejector hammers are gold plated.

Bulge, if it's long tang, that's great.

    Being a '69, I assuming it's Flat Knob (FKLT)?

Bottom of receiver with a gold quail? gold firing pins?

A Midas grade Superposed in 98%=$10,500 95%=$8,750 in the current Blue Book, subtract 20% for skeet model.
