Would it be safe to have the forcing cone on a Belgian Superposed lengthened? I am concerned about metal removal weakening the barrel.

There would be no advantage to modifying that gun. I'm not a Browning fan but IIRC they were/are fairly capable gun makers for quite some time.

But then I've seen a Fabbri w/ ports drilled in it so anything is possible.

I have always had that done. It has the greatest effect in reducing recoil of anything I have tried on these guns. Ron
