I have an older BT99 that I want to take the stock off of for recoil pad installation. I have removed the stock screw but the stock is still tight. I don't want to force it and break anything, is there something I am overlooking?
    Thanks,
    Mark

Is there a screw in the tang that's fastened to the stock? If not then the stock is just stuck, try giving the stock a light rap with the palm of your hand and see if that loosens it.
