Browning Stock Info ????

    Need help to indentify this stock and forend I am told it was for Browning Citori

    I think you are right, a Type 2 field stock.

    If it has a short tang, it could be a Type 3. See MGW's website to determine which it is.

    Oops, Bob is correct, didn't see the short tang. Not a type 2.

    I am holding a Citori satin hunter (type 3, 2011, short tang) in my lap, the checkering on the but stock is exactly the same, the checkering on the fore stock is different but the relief and everything else looks the same. There is an extra hole in the forestock that must have been for a sling????

    The hole in the forend appears to be for a screw that I have seen in other Browning forends.

    I cannot find onfo on this stock and forend at Midwest Gunworks site really appreciate the help.

    Doesnt look like a field stock to me. Maybe off a Browning Special Skeet?
