Just got back a Browning 20 GA XS Skeet from Morgan Utah today. Seems the stock split at the grip after the owner fired app. 50 rds. I shipped it around 3 weeks ago and it was returned with a beautiful new piece of matching wood at no charge. Sure can't beat that-can we!!

That sure debunks the tale of poor Browning Customer Service.

I have heard alot of bad things about Browning's service but the one and only dealing I had with them was also fabulous. I sent them my over and under and it took them just under 4 weeks from the day it left my house to fix and send back with no charge. With almost 2 weeks of that time being shipping, I thought their turn around time was excellent.

I bought a XT trap new in December of 2011 and found two hairline cracks in the stock at the Grand. I took it in for repair in October and didn't get it back until the middle of February. It looks great, better than the original, but it just took forever to get it back.

The 20 ga probably wasn;t your gun being a dealer and all.

It's known that people in the trade get better service from Browning than the people in the trenches do.

I hope this is a new trend for Browning Service because in the past it was beyond slow almost universally..............Uncle Sam, Pa.
