I have heard mention that there is a special technique to de-cocking or dry-firing the Browning Recoilless...can anyone explain to me what that is? I have always dry-fired mine at the end of a day's shooting with a snap cap, and no problems so far, but if there is a better way to decock it, I would sure appreciate any info.

The Browning owner's manual makes no mention of how to de-cock or dry-fire the gun, but it does suggest storing the gun de-cocked.

    Thanks for any info!
