Skeet's Gun Shop, Talaquah, OK. Dean has always done excellent work for me. He is a leading expert on Browning. Fair pricing, honest and good turnaround time. Martinpicker
I have had my gun rebuilt 3 times. The reason the lever was at 6:00 and going to 7:00. More damage can be done if you don't take care of the gun. The bluing on my gun is still good.
If the gun fits and you shoot it well then have the work done. I noticed a number of placed above to do the work but my first thought would be the Browning factory.
Buddy of mine sent his to Browning. It was really worn out to the point it wouldn't even close anymore. $495 was his total bill and the gun looks/performs like new. I was impressed by that.
I guess if one of the above named shops is close that would be a plus.
I've handled some Brownings rebuilt by Doug Braker, if shipping isn't a concern he'd be my choice!.
