Some say the triggers are bad and some say they are alright. All say they have a bad resale value but what the hell kind of trap gun doesn't in these trying times.
They sell new for about the same as a citori combo and of all the ones I have seen for sale seem to resell for about the same to. Real happy with the triggers that came on mine, break clean at 4 lbs., a little stoneing would lighten them up even more. Some guys will spend $10k+ on a shotgun and still have the triggers worked on. JMHO but it is much livelyer handeling than a citori plus I had, that think felt as responsive as a 4x4.
I would suggest if you could to find one in your area and see if you could try it out , you may like it or maybe not like it, there is only one way to tell.
I had 2 combo's at different times and 2 other sporting models and never had any problems with any of them. They fit me better than my custom stocked xt and I shot them better. They are very different than an xt in how they swing and it would be best if you could try one first. my vote is pro.
I owned a trap combo and I still own a field model. Try it first to see if it fits you. The only reason I sold mine was I developed a flinch and I went to a Perazzi with a release . Pro.
The only person making release triggers for the Cynergy is Gordy Keller, in Duncan, British Columbia. His phone number is 250 710 5926. His triggers have been in various guns for three years or more, now, and I haven't heard any complaints about them.
He has done a couple for TS members in the States that I know of, so maybe they could chime in on their experiences.
I've heard good and bad, but was at a dinner with three, very well respected gunsmiths that they wont touch one. They look real cool though.
