I bought a Browning Special Sporting Clays O/U a few months ago. It came with 2 modified and 2 improved modified chokes. I'd like to get a full choke. I'm trying to figure out if I have standard Invector tubes or Invecotr-plus tubes.

The tubes I have indicate the following:

    PLUS
    MOD - LEAD
    FULL - Steel
    Browning

Just want to make sure as the manual says not to interchange.

    Thanks.

If it says plus you have inv plus. standard invector is a pretty short choke while the plus will be around 2.5" long

Thanks. The manual says that the PLUS tubes are only for shotguns with backbored barrels and I was not sure if mine were backbored.

glenns, To make sure of which choke you need, look at the barrel and it will be stamped invector or invector +, Bart
