    I want to thank everyone that responded to my post. In my excitement to find info about my new to me purchase, I started off half cocked. Not enough info for anyone to nail down the exact model.

    What I have learned thru a lot of online searching is that indeed there were BT 99 Grade 6 models produced. The receiver has very deep relief engraving, very similar to a Pigeon Grade. The main difference that I can see from the Pigeon Grade is the gold inlay birds on each side of the receiver. Also research indicates the recoil reduction ass'y may have been factory installed.
    I have not found pics of a LEO'S or ETCHEN SPECIAL that are exactly the same as my GRADE 6.

    This gun is definitely not a GOLDEN CLAYS.

    When I receive the gun (about 8-19-09) I will attempt to post pictures.
