I have a Browning 525 Sporting with the Midas chokes. If anyone has any experience with shooting steel or heavy shot with this type of gun, please let me know your experience. Thanks in advance. Tim Hall

I have a 525 also. I shot a FITASC event with steel shot.

No problems, but I think you're not supposed to go tighter that Lt. Mod. Call Briley, they make the Midas chokes.

Mod will work for smaller shot, up to BB. IC for the big stuff, starting with letters like T and F.

Ditto on the mod choke for steel, hevi shot you can choke up to full, same with hevi metal, however in shot sizes in B or dead coyote my benelli patterns the best with .025constriction or carlsons dead coyote choke (most often we use briley chokes in extended range in duce or less shot size) Briley does make a xtra full for turkey loads in .665 constriction just for hevi shot, however their .675 patterns better in my gun shooting #5 hevi shot.
