    From their April, 2008 newsletter:

"If nature cooperates, the Wilderness Range will reopen on Sundays in
April will be open Saturday and Sunday from May 3rd to December
    7th.

"Only original firearms or reproductions of firearms designed up to
1893, inline muzzle loaders, rifles in pistol calibers suitable for
Cowboy Action Shooting, shotguns with slugs and any 22 caliber or
17 caliber rimfire handguns or rifles are permitted on the range."

Looks like Sunday only this weekend, and .22 caliber rifle should be OK.

It's been maybe 8 years since I shot a bowling pin event back there, but as I recall, it was pretty informal and little used. That may have changed.

There isn't a separate phone number for the Wilderness Range; the rifle range phone is 262-857-7221. Start there.
