How do you install a briley bolt closer?

Click the link above and watch the video. Same thing for the Briley.

I will assume you mean for a 390/391/3901. Anyway, remove the barrel, remove the trigger assembly, remove the bolt and linkage (gut the gun). Now, take a 1/16" punch and tap out the small roll pin on the lower right side of the receiver under the bolt closure (put your finger on the inside of the receiver to catch the roll pin).

Now, take paper clip and straighten out the end so you can push the pivit rod out from the top front side of the ejection port (you will see a small hole) and catch the closure assembly with your fingers on the inside of the receiver.

The factory closure is simple held in place with a pin. Push the pin out and lift out closure. Install button spring in the same place as it is milled out in the new Briley unit. Reinstall and put a dab of red loc-tite on the hex bolt heads to keep the bolt from working out.

    Any questions, Email me.
