I was wondering when traveling to shoots is it better to keep your gun together or broke down? I would be talking about say a BT-99. Reason for your choice?

    Thanks Corey

I can't think of a reason to say one way is "better" than the other. I prefer to transport my guns assembled for the most part to avoid putting it together in a gravel parking lot.

I suppose some state laws regarding transporting firearms could be more favorable to the broke down method.

I see no reason not to take down your BT99. As long as you give the hinges clean and greased you should have no problems.
