I am searching for a vendor from I believe, Fairbury Illinois, who sold a large
an numerous assortment of brass cleaning rods. He handled various lengths and
all his products had quality and value. Sure would appreciate any and or
information on how to contact him, if he is currently in that business.

    Thanks for Sharing,

Pro Shot Products www.proshotproducts.com is in Taylorville Il. I have an older one with a brass handle and female ferrule however the rod is stainless. The newer ones I have are alluminum handles. Real nice rods, the chamber forcing cone brush is awesome as well. They do make a rosewood rod for shotguns. Not sure if this is your company hope it helps.

There was a fellow named Johnny Householder about 2-3 years ago who was from Illinois and was selling brass cleaning rods and all kinds of brushes etc. He was at the Grand a couple times and would cut the rod to any length you wanted. I have a shotgun rod and a couple pistol rods Johnny made for me.

I don't recall seeing him at the Grand the past 2 years. He used to post here also and hasn't for quite a while. Honestly don't know what happened to him. Perhaps someone here knows how Johnny can be reached.

Thanks Gene, Yes Johnny Householder is the vendor. Just wondering if he is
currently in business. I really liked all of his products, especially those
extra long Brass cleaning rods. Hopefully someone may have additional information. And yes I do recall his home base was Fairbury Illinois.

    Thanks to all,
    Gunnerx

I bought from Johnny at the Southwestern Grand and Spring Grand. Quality products. Often wondered what happened to him.

I think he switched venues. Heard he is into fishing on the gulf now. Check out the older thread above.
