I have a 1200 that has a brass bead for the front sight and would like to remove it and replace it with a threaded white bead. Does any one know how to remove the bead with out damaging the rib?

    thanks

Wite-out will make the brass bead white, no removal required.

    You're welcome.

You should be able to unscrew the bead. Protect the rib with some tape and use a pin vise or small drill chuck to remove it.
