Brad would you post daily attendance numbers after the Handicap on Sunday?

To me it looked like the shoot is up.

School started early this year in many Districts. See how the numbers are this weekend.

At least we don't have any underage cart drivers going mach 10.

Maybe all the Ohio shooters are at Vandalia waiting for the Grand to start.

I was surprised the Prelim week at the Grand was up and the Grand week was only down about 7%.

Lots of working people are just treading water in this economy and those with kids are shelling out for back-to-school.

The retired folks aren't getting much interest for the hard earned money they saved over the years.

The price of gas can't be helping. I figured over $100 gas round trip and that would be taking the wifes 30 mpg+ car. Twice as much for my truck.

Farmers are not looking at a good crop anywhere in the Midwest. Sure they have insurance but that just keeps them about even, no gains in income.

Just a lot of uncertainty over how things will play out next year, whoever gets elected.

I'd say that only being down that few shooters is pretty damed good. It's still an indication that the kids cam make a difference. Here in Illinois many school districts started even sooner than ever before. Some as soon as August 5th. I would imagine that that factor alone could account for the Grand week and the CC weren't up slightly for 2012.

Kinda tells you what a little promotion will do. Thank the SCTP for that promotion a few years back.

I personally have to say this has been the best shoot at the CC that I have attended in 3 years. Targets and trap personal were both good.. The dust issue is a problem for the vendors.. hard to keep your product and unit clean with the never ending dust storm each day from the golf carts racing past.

But the good Lord willing.. I'll be back again next year to try again!!

When the shooters left Sparta, they were broke. Had no funds left to shoot Cardnal. Can't be the economy. O'bummer says it's Busch's fault

I wish they would, just once. Then we could see what happens! Some of our little local clubs still throw 3 hole targets and attendance is still good.

The bitchers would go Ga-Ga in TS.com

I'm confused as to where all the attendance experts are. The Grand had a slight decrease in entries during Grand week and people on here came out of the woodwork offering opinions of why and all while boasting on how the Cardinal continues to grow by leaps and bounds. Now the Cardinal attendance is down and the silence is deafening. What gives?
