I had the opportunity, today, to shoot with the Bozeman, MT., Old Farts Trap and Lunch Bunch. What a great bunch of guys. Fine facility, great conversation, super lunch and clay birds that broke. Had a great time. Thanks to President Al and buddy Chuck. Hope to be able to shoot with you all again.

Old Farts Trap??? LOL, you really don't want to know what I'm thinking here!

Glad you're having a great time -- is it as hot there as it is here? We're really cooking.

    See ya soon,

I think beans are on the menu. There's a good recipe on the other thread.

Have many fond memories of Bozeman and surrounding area. Spent a week duck hunting in the area about a dozen years ago. Spent some time in the Livingston area on the Yellowstone, Ennis Lake & the Madison, spring creeks, Frenchy's in Wolf Creek, Oasis Steak restaurant in Manhattan, etc, etc. Even drove up North to the Bob Marshall Wilderness area.

What beautiful country but a little on the cold side for a Virginian. Too bad my luggage seems to have a problem getting into Bozeman from Salt Lake City!

Did you shoot down the highway at Manhattan?

Bill Behyl of the big sportings goods store on Main in Bozeman is a helluva shooter. I've shot with him over at Manhattan.

My brother-in-law is a retired banker there (in fact he's here in Rapid City this weekend. Wants up to come up and visit. I was not aware of any trap club in Bozeman or on the outskits???

I'm not a trapshooter and never looked into that. Just go there to fish and once to duck hunt.

    Whiz,

It's Beyl, and yes he is one of the best in the State. Perenial all-state teamer. And not a bad guy either...LOL. I would assume that they were in Logan, as you said, Booze-man has no club. Nice club to shoot at. Great bunch of guys.
