1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

try a local sears store. they usually have boxes in the morning. Also a bicycle shop has a box big enough and you can cut it down to size. A bunch of tape and staples and you/re ready to go.

A large appliance box (ref, washer, dryer, etc) can be cut down and folder/taped to size. The nice thing about this cardboard is that it is about twice as thick/strong as normal boxes. Any appliance store for free. Marc

I do what luvtrapguns suggests. I find some heavy cardboard and make my own. Ed

any gun shop would be happy to give you one box or ten. they throw them out every day. so, now that you have a box, how ya' gonna' wrap it? newspapers? styrofoam worms? bubble wrap? i like those six foot long sections of pipe insulation you can buy at home depot for 79 cents. nice and dense foam. no gun is gonna' get dinged wrapped in that with some duct tape! good luck with it

I shipped a Superposed for a rebuild last year. I ordered a cheap plastic breakdown gun case with egg carton foam padding from a mail order site . The gun case with the original shipping carton made an excellent cheap shipping container that would protect the gun well. The gun was returned in the my original carton as I shipped it so I have a nice shipping container for future needs.

Try a bicycle shop. The boxes those things come in are very heavy duty and can be cut down.

Went to local Gander Mountain. Talked to the gunsmith. He gave me a nice box with packing material inside.
