So about three weeks ago i picked up a Beretta 682 Gold E Trap from a buddy who had only had it a couple weeks. At first I didn't notice it, and the more i shoot it, the more i notice that it bows in towards the right side.

The Front screw was stripped out and I am wondering if whenever the screw was tightened in if it didnt put pressure on the rib and try to twist it. I have rethreaded the screw it and it screws in fine now, but the rib is still bowed. I have also tried removing the entire rib thinking maybe it was sprung, but it did not help at all.

Has anyone else experienced this issued? Is there anything I can do to fix the problem?

    Thanks, Kasey

Tighten the front screw 'til the "bow" comes out.

The gun is designed that way.
