I just want to say what a great time I had yesterday. Bosco puts on a good shoot and I can see why he gets good crowds. Thanks, Bosco!

Maltzie was on his very best behavior and rarely embarrassed himself.

I met some nice folks and saw some old friends and aquaintances. A really good group up there. :)

Only Maltzie of the original SW Iowa Clowns showed up...but his recent running mate, Del, is now a member (in poor standing, like the others). I have already named one of the bunch "Sandy"...and Del is much, much worse. So...he is now christened "Gravel"...as gravelbagging is more sneaky than sandbagging. Please address him as such from now on.

I certainly am praying I hit the Lewis class...otherwise I can't afford to go to the Fall Handicap.

A really good time. Good to see all you shooters up there.

Your not going to post your scores? Guess self embarassment prevents it.

Well Jim, I didn't do all that good, but for my first full event in 4 years, I can't expect much.

Broke 97 singles, 87 caps, and 94 in the doubles.

But the main thing is...I looked really, really good. Clearly the most handsome man there.

Glad to see humility is still one of your strong points.

It's a curse I've learned to live with, Jim. :)

When's the next event at Sedalia? I'm looking forward to coming over. Last time I shot there was somewhere between 1969-71.

4th of Sept. It should be safe as I don't think any of the regulars know of your odd behavior from past years.

Denny, if you don't go to Sedalia you could go to Macon on the 4th.

By the way, I was happy that I beat you by one target on the Handicap with an 88!! For me not too bad for me as the arthritis in my shoulders was giving me fits. (Not sure what to say about how you looked????)

Also, glad to have met you in person.
