Has the Border Patrol, the immigration experts, participated in the writing of the Immigration Bill that is being considered? If not, why not?

By participated in, I mean consulted in the form of reports, testimony. etc. And if not why not? And if so, what were their contributions and recommendations?.

Or is this bill a bunch of hooey, political speak that appeases politicians and does not really address the problem of border security for the USA?

That is a good question. But, why would they ask the Border Patrol anything? Washington knows all. They all know how to drive trucks, they know all about guns, buildings, highways, trains, bridges, money matters, the military, security, airplanes, taxes and so on. They just know everything. Just look at the healthcare plan that is fixing to be shoved down our throats.

The government mindset is NEVER ask the person or people who, daily, deal with perspective issues and WOULD have some answers!!!

That is why not one single agency "works".

And its not just at the Federal level, I've witnessed and participated in it, at small town USA level!!!!

The reason they will never ask is because they know they will not like the answer they are given

That's why this gov. would be considered 'bad management'. Government by the uneducated opinion of few...sure seems that way.
