Bolt Stuck In Battery On My Model 12

    Try this take a brass punch and hit the back of the bolt forward to take the pressure of the locking bolt that holds the bolt in battery. then lift the back of the bolt up with a screw driver very carefuly and the bolt should unlock and the bolt will slide back and then you will be able to get the bolt out of the gun then bang the shell hull out of the chamber with a rod,after you get the shell out check all parts for damage from the over pressure.

    With the gun apart, check the condition of the recoil cut in the upper part of the receiver; what the bolt is locked into when in battery. If it's really worn or irregular, you may be ready for a rebuild of that recoil cut.....breakemall....Bob Dodd

    Was it a 9 volt or a D sized battery?

    Sorry I just couldn't resist ... dang de-caf free no sugar soy milk coffee has me in one of them moods today, I thinks I needs to go back to the regular good coffee.

model 12 bolt coming out of battery
