Bob Sommers had a lot of friends. And more acquaintances too. A few of his good friends got to see his real collections, and one that few knew about was his carved art collection. He had spectacular stuff. Decoys, and carved birds and all. Never did hear if that moved on.

Is this shoot at McHenry Sportsmans?

No. I see it now. Beign held at the St Charles Sportsmans club. Elburn Illinois, I believe.

Shows you what a cheddarhead knows. They have a St Charles Address.

Bob Sommers was a great guy, his Wife and Family will be in attendance for this shoot in his honor as they have been for each and every shoot. The St. Charles Sportsmen's Club has chosen to honor Bob each and every year with this special shoot. Trophy's are exceptional Bob's family provides an outstanding leather bag for the Handicap Champion. I can only dream of winning this bag. The new purse is a great addition to the shoot. You will be treated to a great day of ATA shooting, good food and great company so don't miss this event.

We are excited to be a part of the Bob Sommers' Memorial Shoot for the 2nd straight year. We will be hauling our mobile vending trailer to the shoot if anyone needs some shooting accessory items.

This is a great opportunity for those that are not able to make it to any of the large shoots with a vendor's row.

If there is anything that you know you want, drop us an email and let us know. You will have to fix the email address and replace the @ and .

Here are a few samples of items we will have with us.

My Father loved to shoot at St Charles because of the people involved in the club. This only show that the tradition lives on!!
Each year this shoot gets bigger and better because of all the hard work and effort put into it! Thank you! MY FATHER WOULD BE PROUD!!!

Can hardly wait to get my hands on that bag. Then fill it up with the Perpetual Purse money. The purse has $3,000. pluse the days entry.

mdj67, I believe that all of the people that "buy" into the perpetual purse option that days entry goes into the pot and not paid out for the shoot on 6/6. Barry, is that the way you are going to do it? To keep the perpetual purse going? Thanks, Rick Gibbs
