Similar to last year, we are trying to have as many presquad as we can, to reduce any lines.

We will have water and soda available to all shooters at no charge.

Free beer after you are done shooting.

If you presquad you will receive a ticket for ice cream.

Let me know if you can think of anything else, that would bring a smile to Bob's face when talking of past shoots.

Right now, we have shooting, calcutta, free beer, free drinks, free Ice Cream, If I could add in a snowmobile race and a flyer shoot, we would be good !!.

We have 4 college students in music at NIU that have bene practicing for Bob's Shoot and the PVA the following week.

Please plan to attend the PVA shoot if you can, it is both Saturday and Sunday.

We should have a Color Guard for both events.

Just wanted to tip my hat to the crew who was in charge of the shoot yesterday. I will not mention names as I will leave someone out, and I don't want that to happen. I watched the guys who ran the shoot yesterday and it is a thankless job. SCSC had a large crowd yesterday and I thoght the shoot was very well run. SCSC goes the extra step - They offered free water and pop, if you pre-squaded, you got free ice cream and for those who stuck around to watch the shoot-offs - free pizza. The targets were very good and yes - the voice activated were new and had some issues - but all in all - a very good shoot. Thanks again to everyone who made it possible. I will say I remember the old days of waiting in line for an hour to register - took me 5 minutes yesterday - very impressive!

The targets were very good? They must have gotten better after I left, because while I was there, they were below average.

The shoot was run pretty well. I think it could have gone much faster if they had moved some of the late squads to the empty banks after the first bank got backed up mid way in singles.

    Regards,

If Dodger Boy says the targets were very good, they probably were. The shooters of the four 99s, three 98s, and seven 97s in singles would probably agree. Running ATA shoots IS a thankless job.
