Big hat tip to Bob May who shot the only 100 straight on our new Field #3 to take the all the $480.00 Jackpot for the first 100 straight and added another $40.00 for taking the AA Class win.

Another hat tip to Pat Maurice who posted a 98 in HC to take Champ and a Bill & Ruthie Hunter Silver Dollar money clip with a crisp $20.00, PLUS winning First in the HOA Jackpot worth another $180.00

And, a hat tip to Jim Kenneston for winning Second in the HOA for a $120.00 payday AND, a Bill & Ruthie Hunter Silver Dollar money clip with a crisp $20.00 for Vet/Sr Vet combined.

How about running 14 single squads and 12 HC squads through 3 traps in about 7.5 hours shooting 100 per field? Well, we got it done because we had a lot of shooters volunteer to score and load traps.

A special thanks are in order to two of our trap "kids" Terry Bilbey and David van Elgort(yep, of TS.com fame). These two are great examples of what makes trapshooting a pretty neat group. Terry drove over 2 hours to lend a hand and didn't even shoot. He did bring that beautiful engraved Bowen he has up for sale. If you are already divorced and can afford it, what a masterpiece.

Also, Dean Brower and Andy Sherry provided plenty of food for everyone. Feeding 65+ trapshooters requires lots of chow and some big utensils!

Finally, a BIG THANK YOU to all the shooters who came out and enjoyed a gorgeous Southern California day in the mid 60s. We appreciate your support.

On the same squad, Steve shot a 99, and I think JK, The Bomber and Walt had 98s.

Thank you to all shooters who came out and supported our club, we paid out over $1,000.00 in CASH and PRIZES. Now that we have a trap #3 winner, we can move on to new shoot pot for all traps. We will be starting contruction on our fourth trap and it should allow us to increase our shooting capacity.

Look forward to see all of you next month.

And a special thanks to the folks from Kern County and the kids from Tehachapi. Also, a hat tip to junior Bethany Woods who won a shootoff 24-24; 25-23 for B Champ. Nice shooting kid!
