Just read about him in the Sept/Oct TrapShooting USA magazine. Says he is a tradesman at a steelmill. Not sure why that little tidbit matters but i found it interesting. Maybe becasue he is a blue collar worker like me.

Anyone know if he had his Krieghoff squad with him??

    Congrats and great shooting!!!

Bob's friends were there to watch him go 225 straight shoot-off targets to win the Clay Target Championship. He was beside himself saying it was a "dream come true" and that he couldn't believe he had won this coveted award.

    Great shooter, sportsman and friend.

We all celebrated afterward with beer at the 17th Street Grill.

Bob congrats, It was wonderful watching you win with most of the shooting family present and clinching there seat for the last several targets. It is a great accomplishment well deserved by a great friend.

Bob, Congrats. I will always remember what you said is the key to winning a shoot. "Eat hard eat heavy, the wind can pick up and you will blow away on post 5." LOL You got a beer on me when I see you at Millington. Mike Sharkey, DC

Congratulations to one of the true unsung gentlemen of the sport. Bob has been a steady top-drawer competitor for decades in one of the toughest areas of the country. Seeing a working man win the most difficult championship in American Trap gives us other working men some hope and a reason to "keep on truckin'".

    Congratulations from Oregon!!

    Whew, it's over !!!

Couldn't have been for a nicer fellow. A real true, down to earth working class guy, and we couldn't be happier for him !

Once again, Congrats to BOB !
