How hard is it to re-blue a reciever? Those of you who have had it done in a gun shop, what is the normal turn-around time?

I have been without my gun for quite some time and am just curious as to what the delay is. I won't get into who is fixing it or how long it's been but...just wondering.

    Thanks.

If a small shop does the bluing themselves the shop normally will wait until they have more that one gun to do.

Some shops do such a good job they have a waiting list.
I had my MX6 done at Glen Rock bluing and they told me right up front there was about 300 guns in front of me. If I remember right it took about 4/5 months.

It was well worth the wait and I would wait again.
