These were caught in a small lake in northern Indiana by my son. He caught 52 in just about an hour. Time to go fishing . It does not get any better tasting than a Bluegill right after the ice leaves

They have been biting here in Texas for quite a while

My wife is the "fisherperson" of the family, wouldn't doubt if she is fishing right now

It sure is nice to own your own lake

Even nicer to have a wife that loves to fish and that cleans them and cooks them too, I am spoiled

Nice, that one has a forehead like me.

Hard little fighters, If gills weighed 5 pounds they would pull you in the water!

I love going after them with ultralight gear, I use a small chink of night crawler on a small hook and there are times it is non stop action

    Cat,

I've got one of them too! Has helped me gut, haul out and butcher every deer I've killed in last 20 years. Award winning cook and multi-state trap champ.

Reminds me, I'm due at the pond bank tomorrow.

    PS--cute too!

    Oh I forgot...

She's a much better mechanic than me and most of MY jobs around the farm she does before I can get to them. Boy...what a life!
