Bloomingdale Con. Club Calcutta Results 9/2/12 !!

    Today at Bloomingdale was a good turnout with lots of protections being shot before the Calcutta with squads filling up as fast as they could pull them ,12 protections in all before the 11:30 sign up deadline for the calcutta ,as always the breakfast started at 8 till 11:00 and lunch being served with pulled bbq pork ,coleslaw,scalloped potatoes ,and desserts leading up to the auction for the calcutta ,Thank you to all the volunteers for working so hard for us to beable to have another great shoot ,now lets see some pics ..




    Full squads today on a warm cloudy day and lots of targets being thrown ,now lets see the board from the first calcutta..

    Today we had 21 teams in the first 50 bird draw with 3 teams tied at 49 for first and it got down to 2 teams in the shootoff and they split Doc & Brian Lester / Ken Sims & George Coffee in 2nd 2 teams tied and Anthony Seekman and Chris Childers won the shootoff in 3rd alone at 47 Billy Rodriguez and Doug Fazer in 4th 4 teams at 46 and Don Stevens and Bob Richmond taking the shootoff good shooting by everybody today now a few more pics...
    Thanks goes out to Tom Bouma for running the auction for us great job..


    Everywhere you looked today people were hanging out between rounds relaxing telling stories and enjoying another day at Bloomingdale Conservation Club and remember tomorrow we can do it all again with a labor day shoot with a 50 bird draw and a 100 bird pick your partner ...
    And we got to see a couple of the Ski Stepbrothers today with Steve Van Vel Ski & Billy RodSki but still no Matty but i hear a rumor there might be a showing tomorrow ( i promise i wont say anything about hitting a golf ball farther than you if that will help ) Hope to see even a bigger turnout tomorrow maybe you can stop by and pick up your other bro Todd DelpSki if you decide to come, ill end this for now and hope someone can add or let me know the results of the 100 bird calcutta from today ...

    And here are the results from the 100 bird calutta sunday 9/2/12 in first place all alone was Doc & Don Stevens with a 98 and second alone at 97 Buck Roberts and Steve V.V. and in 3rd 3 teams tied at 96 and Brian and Bill R. winning the shootoff and Anthony Seekman and Perry Moore taking the charlie purse good shooting by everyone..
    And here is a picture of the Frito Bandito's who won the Charlie purse now lets move on to monday's shoot Labor Day !!!


    Today Monday 9/3/12 Labor Day started out sunny and hot with protections starting around 9:30 and stopping at the deadline of 11:30 for sign up for the 50 calcutta ,for lunch today was Brats and pulled pork coleslaw ,potato salad,greenbean casserole and desserts Thank you again for all the volunteers that make this shoot possible now lets see the board from the 50 birder...

    And in first place alone at 48 Jack Patton and Randy Hook in second alone at 47 Perry Moore and Clayton B. and in 3rd alone at 46 Mike Bork and Bob Richmond good shooting by everyone ,now a few more ics of today the the 100 bird results
    And here we have Todd Delp surrounded by all his friends, he heard his one friend Matty was going to show up today so he was watchng every car that pulled in to see if he came but again Todd got left waiting at the fence Matty was a no show !!
    And a big thanks goes out to Tim Schanz for doing a great job with the auctions..
    And John Sudekis sizing up the trap fields planning his stratagy ..
    And Tim and Zeek Seekman grabbing some shade today between rounds on this hot day ..now lets see the 100 bird calcutta results

    In first place 3 teams tied at 96 and it got down to 2 teams and they split Doc/Don Stevens and Louie K./Todd Delp in second 1 team at 95 Paul/Doug S. and in third for the charlie Doug Evert and Bill good shooting guys and Thank You Bloomingdale Conservation Club for putting on a great 2 day shoot....

    Great job Doug always enjoy looking at the pics and seeing the captions.

    I can only say " Great Job TEAM Bloomingdale Gun Club " you out did yourselves it all went smooth along with the help of Tim and Rick I really enjoyed the weekend.
