Ya gotta love the guy. Hussein must be Arabic for hypocrit.

    Oct. 2007

"IOWA CITY –Sen. Barack Obama charged today that a private security firm operating in Iraq has acted "with reckless disregard to Iraqi life," as he called his proposals to better monitor such contractors the toughest reforms offered by any candidate in the presidential race.

Although Obama has previously mentioned Blackwater USA, the Illinois Democrat drew greater attention to the firm's actions in an extended discussion on the University of Iowa's campus.

"Most contractors act as if the law doesn't apply to them," he said. "Under my plan, if contractors break the law, they will be prosecuted."

In announcing his "Security Contractor Accountability Plan," Obama said he would like to see greater transparency on contractor hiring and costs.

"I've proposed tougher government reforms than any other candidate in this race – reforms that would eliminate the kind of no-bid contracts that this administration has given to Blackwater," he said."

    July 25 2008

"Sen. Barack Obama has not been a fan of private police like Blackwater in war zones, and some news outlets even reported that they were spurned for his trip last week to Afghanistan and Iraq. But Whispers confirms that Blackwater did handle the Democratic presidential candidate's security in Afghanistan and helped out in Iraq. What's more, Obama was overheard saying: "Blackwater is getting a bad rap.""

Obuma doesn't flip-flop, he takes both sides of many issues at the same time.

In any conflict, there must be hard men willing to make and implement hard decisions.

Hypocrisy is knowing this, and privately using these resources, while damning them publicly.

Do you realize that the majority of the civilian contract operators are ex US Special Forces troops who are the best of the best? They have served their country with honor and are now using the training and skills they learned while protecting all of us in the most dangerous missions. Calling them thugs is unfair and uncalled for. I have had the honor of working with several SF type groups in the past and there is not a more patriotic, disciplined, and dedicated group of men anywhere.

In just about every modern conflict contractors have been used whether the public knows it or not. Our troops are operating under rules of engagement that puts them at a disadvantage and results in uneccessary casualties. We evidently didn't learn much from Viet Nam, this information comes from guys in the field. The contracters do not have quite the same restrictions and they are able to take on duties that would put US troops in more danger. It is a good thing that we have some trigger pullers over there who know what they are doing and not restrained so much by the buearocrats back in their offices deciding when they can shoot back.

This site has been re-infested by a bunch of liberal, anti-gun trolls. Take 221 for example. Bitches about Blackwater but I bet he is an Obamass kisser who coveniently overlooks the fact that his messiah hired Blackwater to protect his scrawny, sorry butt.

    Jack,

You have to understand that liberals have no qualms about devaluing human life when it fits their political agenda. That is why they feel no guilt about the millions of Vietnamese, Cambodians, Laotians, Humongs, Cubans, Nicarguans, etc that were murdered by the Communists. But, let's not forget partial birth abortions.

Hey 221 was right! Obama did use terrorists for security on his trip. It's nice he is so inclusive. Patriots in Iraq, Terrorists in Palestine.

Do any of you ACTUALLY KNOW any Blackwater people? I seriously doubt it. Most liberal scum who criticize them Don't have a FREANKING CLUE about them. I have known a few and YES they are Patriotic. They are highly trained and most are prior military or government law enforcement types. Most of the liberal dirt bags on this site who bad mouth them wouldn't have the nads to go where they go and do what they do! The fact that Hussien OBAMA takes their protection, and then bad mouths them proves what a low life two bit hypocricitical piece of SCUM he is! For those who are out of touch with reality, they actually operate as private contracors at a lower cost than a military unit doing the same operation(a little info for thoise wwho are SO concerned about tax dollars)! The fact is the liberal Pieses of $#!^ in government who have cut the military to the bone have reduced the troop levels to the extent that private firms doing security work is necessary. Also LOW LIFE liberal AHs try to prosocute military personnel everytime they actually kill somebody in a war zone! The problem is most liberal pukes on here get their news(and ideas) from liberal loser news networks and lieing POS like Dan Blather.

Flincher asks "What an insult! And who authorized the expenditure?"

Answer, that would be the Democrats in Congress:

    2007

" WASHINGTON, May 25 (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush signed a bill on Friday providing $100 billion to pay for the Iraq war but congressional Democrats who failed to impose a troop withdrawal deadline said their fight was far from over.

Despite losing the latest round to Bush, Democrats vowed to keep up their efforts to force him to start bringing U.S. troops home from Iraq.

Slammed by U.S. anti-war groups for allowing the bill to pass, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Democrats would quickly resume their drive to impose deadlines for pulling U.S. forces out of Iraq."

    2008.

WASHINGTON -- A long-delayed Iraq war-funding bill sailed through the House yesterday...

ROFLMAO at the Democrats. Run on an anti-war platform and then screw over the surrendercats that elected them by letting Bush have his way with them.

Gas: $2.50 a gallon when the Democrats took over Congress.

Poor Flincher believes everything he reads and/or hears from the Liberal press. You have stated so much BS, to prove you wrong would take to much time and it wouldn't change your thinking anyway. You come on a trapshooting site and then are affronted when your liberal idiot statements are rejected. You don't have a clue how the military or blackwater operates. You made a dumb statement about gov't emoloyees, the majority being in the military, look around and count again and also count all the private contractors they use which are not bid jobs.

You come here obviously because nobody else gives you platform to spew your garbage. When the shit hits the fan I would take our military, blackwater and some shooters from this site and leave you sitting at home sucking your liberal thumb, holding Obama's hand.

    Don
