    Hey Joe:

Actually,,,,the way the "cards" have been dealt leaves nothing to go on but a bluff!!!

What I mean is,,,,The field of republicans is still "too wide" to produce a "clear,,majority" front runner!!! But,,,,I am afraid that even when it does,,,it will be "too late"!!! "Change" is in the air!!! I am afraid you could dump a bucket of shit on "any" democratic candidate,,,and the american people will smell nothing but "spring flowers and lilacs"!!!!

But not too worry,,,,If georgie attacks Iran and has as much success there,,as he did/does in Iraq,,then the american people will have to choose which party they wish to lead us into sustained combat in the middle east!!!!

Pray that happens!!!! Because even a front runner for the republicans is going to find it tough to get a vote in 2008..........

    AKA Grammie..........

    Denny,

You're not fooling anybody...Bill Rich and Al Sharpie may talk a good game, but we all know that when your buddy Tom Nutsack gets tapped for V.P., you'll be right back home in the Hillary camp again.

    Nice try though...

Here's the big problem. He has a (D) after his name. Each Party adopts something called a "platform." It is what the Party stands for, and it is what each candidate pledges to support in order to be a member of that Party. For those on this site who say they are (D)s, it is also what they pledge to believe. So here is a line from the Democratic Platform. The first part of the line is surprising to me, since the remainder of the line exposes the first statement as a lie. Anyway, you can read and see what I mean:

"We will protect Americans' Second Amendment right to own firearms, and we will keep guns out of the hands of criminals and terrorists by fighting gun crime, reauthorizing the assault weapons ban, and closing the gun show loophole, as President Bush proposed and failed to do."

Oh, come on, guys...you're pooping on the party here! There's still some kool-aid drinkers out there who are all wet between the legs for that magical, electable, pro-gun Democrat to prance out of their wet dreams and into our hearts.

What are you trying to do...tell them they're _unrealistic?_

People,people,people..........When will you ever learn! You can't trust a bloody word ANY politician says. Don't you know by now that they say and do things that will help them get elected. How many times does it take for you to learn this simple truth? And,more especially, when it comes from a Latino politician......Good lord....wise up already!

Oh crap...there you go with all this "reality" stuff again...come on guys, we're trying to have a fantasy here...

Now, close your eyes and repeat after me: "A pro-gun Democrat can get elected on the national stage, a pro-gun democrat can get elected on the national stage..."...that's it, keep repeating...after 5, 6 days, you'll start believing...

    He will never become president.

The liberals won't like the fact that he is pro gun, and the conservatives won't trust him to stand up to Feinstein, Kennedy, Schummer, Pelosi, etc, etc, etc....

Regardless of their gun stance...I'll not vote for anyone with a R or D next to their name.

Geez...there are so many other issues. Gun rights and control will naturally be high on our priority list.

Yesterday, I listened to America's comptroler on the radio. Stating, that by 2020 America's full faith and credit bonds, notes, and bills will be sold as junk bonds on the world market. We are in a debt crisis, federal, states, and private sector. By the end of this year we will have over 50 tri, lll, llll, ion dollars of unfunded national debt, pricipal and interest. What he heck, just print more money. Most states are close to the same debt and spending levels. We the citizens, spend more than we make, save less than will be required and sign morgages that are never intended to be paid off. The best way to never get elected is to impose higher taxes and kill government programs. My question is.....ever meet a democRAT that would be fiscally or tax responsible? But then again, socialists do like to share the misery, and tax the free market out of existance.

Literist, (my sincere friend) how is NewdamMexico's financial condition? You might be good looking and a professional entertainer, but sometimes me thinks you can be sold a freezer in the middle of winter.

You could also expand your knowledge and report back to us on Bill Richardson's record on illegal immigration.

Look Tron....no one will ever defend the Bush administration on spending. He spends like a democRAT but taxes like a Republican. Dubya must have thought he could out inflate the spending at the printing press and with cheap debt securities. He was also blessed with some unexpected spending, from 9/11 and Noleens. Forgot to cut the legs out from under some promised government programs. Few claimed he was a true conservitive in the first place, but was and still is better than an elitist Algore or socialist loving Kerry admin. Let us not forget the "rule of law" killing Klinton admin. Get a rope! That said from the graves of our fouding fathers.

Then kiss your 391's good-bye Joe. And there won't be a darn thing you can do about if, demo's controlled two branches of the gov't. Semi auto's are VERY HIGH on the liberal ban list. Period.

Agreed, the no-longer Big Three are taking a beating. The sad fact is, they are going to take a bigger beating before it gets better. That is the economic business end that you are seeing, regardless of who's to blame.

What you are not seeing or recognizing is that other types of businesses have flourished in the last 6 to 8 years, and have positioned themselves to do so. The economy has slowed slightly but is still in good condition. The dept compared to GDP is still manageable, per many economists. Technology companies for example are prospering.

If times have changed, make changes yourself. No one will do it for you.

One thing you can't hide from is that virtually all anti-gun legislation is authored by demo's. They did try to take your semi-auto's in the nineties, you just didn't know it. As a matter of fact, John Kerry authored or co-signed legislation stating such.

Slick willies party only had control of congress the first two years he was President! It was "throw the bums out"! Repubs controlled the remaining 6. So, to blindly give false credit to someone who had basically nothing to do with prosperity in the nineties, except for signing the legislation, would be classified as a "dumbassed post". And I like you to Joe.

The current president has made some monumental errors, but I see no one on the liberal side of the fence that will be good for this country. None.

With all due respect Joe, I disagree with "WE ARE AT THE BRINK OF A STATE OF DEPRESSION". It may slow moderately, at the worst. The overall national economic indicators are still good.

Technology companies are erecting buildings near me that are,,well fascinating. Lot's of them. And technology companies serve OTHER companies.

I've been meaning to compliment you on your adjustable comb installations. Very nice indeed.

Better during the Klinton years, that's a joke! All smoke and mirrors. The first term was paid for on the backs of the military, the second term was the walk-up to the 3, yes three, NAFTA bills that Klinton signed. In fact, it took two D's, make that Double-D's, Klinton and Tom Sawyer (D-Ohio) to pass the really destructive follow-on NAFTA rules. The fact that you still had money in your pocket was just a fluke of time. It took NAFTA four years to reach full implementation. By that time administrations had changed. Not to mention 9/11, the TSA and N.O.

Don't put me in the R column, GW has given the name RINO a shine like a new penny. (which is about all we average folks will have left after Hill's Health Care - Christ!) But, I remember Algore and his Internet invention, $100,000 visits to vow-of-poverty Monks and cash register "Chinese Charlie" better than any of you appear to have? Not to mention, his Sasquatch-size 'carbon footprint' today!

DEE-troiT has been on the slide for decades, along with the rest of the mid-west. They were the first Stars of America's industrial age, and so, they'll be the first to decline while your elected (still suspect) congressmen give it away so they can send their kids to the best private schools and buy the big homes in gated communities of fellow liar's and opportunists.

However, all you D's can rest easy on Hillary's gun control. She killed Vince Foster with one shot, and I'm sure she'll be looking for few more "problems" to solve quickly once she's in office. Certainly, she wouldn't stoop to hypocrisy and take yours, while she reloads - would she???

    IMO,
    Kip
