Happy Birthday to a great man. I was never so proud to win one of his ATA life memberships.

Mr. Hunter, I'm very proud to have won your kind donation of a Lady Liberty silver dollar on a sterling chain for winning the lady's PITA state championship several years ago; however I'm even prouder of the beautifully typed and signed letter you sent to congratulate me. And . . . to top it all off, you even sent me a photograph of you and Ruthie standing proudly beside your red Jeep Waggoneer.

Page 23 in my trapshooting scrapbook is dedicated to you, as It holds your letter, your picture and the envelope you mailed it in, postmarked July 31, 2006.

If it wasn't for Ruthie, you'd be the love of my life.

In gratitude, I wish you a happy 90th birthday, and a very happy life for all the love and kindness you've bestowed upon so many of us.

Along time ago I asked My. Hunter if he would adopt me. Told him I'd be the bestest son ever. He said he'd think about it. I'm still waiting, Bill. But that's cool.

    Happy Birthday for sure

This thread also reminds me: Bill has owned some interesting vehicles over the years. The "fleet" included a Jaguar sedan powered by a very stout Keith Black SBC, a Cadillac ambulance, an SS 350 mid 90's Impala, and, if these qualify, railroad caboose cars. I'd venture that there were/are others.

Perhaps others or Bill can provide more information/pictures? Interesting stuff and he had a great eye for good and fun and benchmark vehicles.

I shot singles on a squad with Bill a couple or three times in the early 90's. A pure gentleman and he encouraged me now and then if I'd hit something I usually miss! (Like a full angle off 5!)

Infinite thumbs up for Bill and infinite Happy Returns!!
