Lead jumped 38 cents a pound on the NY metals market this morning. That ended the down trend. $1.58 per lb. X 25 = $39.50 cost of lead in a bag of shot. Now add shipping, labor, and profit = we're screwed. HMB

That's why it's $55 a bag at Bass Pro. Works out to about 15.5 cents worth of lead per 1.125 oz load.
