    Got this in an email:

I feel an obligation to honesty and truth to share with you some facts. My Father and Mother instilled in me the values and morals of treating people fairly and always being honest. If you purchase something, you pay for it. If you borrow something, you give it back.

I have been "stiffed" three times in my 30 year professional career by someone who I rendered services to, gave a finished product to, but who refused to pay for those services even though they acknowledged the services and products were correct, were what they asked for, and were never challenged for not being correct.

I am lucky in having only three, but those three hurt badly.

Joe Biden was one of those people.

I worked on his 1988 Presidential campaign financial disclosure engagement. I busted it for him and got everything right. He stiffed me for over $15,000 worth of work. He refused to pay once he dropped out of the race.

I did similar Capitol Hill campaign financial disclosure work for Bob Dole, Pat Buchanan, and a Democratic candidate for Ambassador to New Zealand. All of those folks paid even though they lost the election or did not get the appointment. That type of work is very demanding and very tedious because your efforts are scrutinized by Congress.

    Biden did not care.

I am on the Board of Directors of a company that owns a majority position in a private jet management company in Northern Virginia . They manage jets for businesses and rich folks. They also charter planes to the public.

This past winter John Thompson chartered over $250,000 worth of air time. He paid every penny.

Joe Biden, in his latest unsuccessful run for President, chartered over $150,000 worth of air time. He PAID ZERO.

He continues to refuse to pay stating his race is over and he is out of money. He never once complained about his flights. Joe Biden is a rich man. He could pay.

Joe Biden is a liar and a cheat. I know it first hand. Character is what life is all about.

Joe Biden is a man of bad character and sets a bad example for America .

I feel compelled to share this dark side of a man who asks for your vote and trust.

    Best Regards,

He sure didn't pull any punches. Why would a politician not pay their bills? What do they do with all that money that is donated to them?

Hillary still owes money to a whole string of vendors who provided services to her...

...wups, to her "campaign," sorry about that...

All I need to know about Biden's character is that he blames law-abiding gun owners for the actions of criminals.

Let's see. Biden runs for President. He wins, it's Air Force One. He loses, he stiffs his suppliers and donors. Sounds like a socialist to me!

Bigdogex - If you can substantiate this claim. Then it should be forwarded to all major networks. The truth about all should be heard. - Jim

    Jem,
I'm not claiming anything, just that the character of our politicians seem to act like they don't have to behave like us. I would Mr Riddle probably has and got nowhere which is why the email.

Do you really think the networks would run it? LOL

John Edwards cheats on his dying wife and fathers a kid and the mainstream media hides it for 2 years. A 17 year old girl gets pregnant and the New York Time run 3 stoies today on their FRONT PAGE!

Send it to the Republican National Committee....

they will take it from there! If you send it to the liberal networks, you'll give them a chance to hedge and hide.

If this is true Biggie, and I don't doubt your word, then please do it. Or send the detailed facts to me via PM and I will get it to the right source.!

Jeez people... Riddle is a bitter Clinton operative who is trying to discredit Biden. Several articles have been written about how many campaigns have debts that linger for years. I'm pasting a post on this very subject below as well as a listing of all of Riddle's contributions to the Clinton campaign.

    This one is rubbish.

    Walker

I have contacted him (Riddle) directly. I called him beginning about 7 days ago several times on his cell phone, no answer and no reply. Subsequently, I doubt it's true but regardless when it comes to campaign bills it is as I suspected, one is basically potentially making a campaign contribution the way things regularly turn out:

"As for the vendor debts, it’s common for big campaigns, particularly losing ones, to let unpaid bills linger, sometimes for years.

“I don’t think the debt is as big of an issue as the media seems to be making it out to be,” Torchinsky said. “Yes, it’s debt, but there are many campaigns that have carried debt for years without paying it back. Her debt has no effect on her future campaigns.”

At the end of April, Giuliani’s presidential campaign owed $3.6 million, while Delaware Democratic Sen. Joe Biden’s owed $1.2 million.

I've been able to ascertain the following contributions, he's probably a bitter Clinton supporter. Regardless, he's a political player, I wouldn't shed any tears for this dude:

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? Media bias is a constant...it is not fair but it exists.
Know which networks are particularly poisonous and make sure you do not help them stay in business. Hopefully, the New York Times will go bankrupt soon!

So guess what happens to the money when a Senator retires with a nice surplus in his campaign fund?

Armchair pundits feel free to contribute here.

I read a note on Snopes.com and it said this debt was now paid in full.

VP's are selected to get votes. Palin will get votes, but nearly 7 million less people were interested in Biden. In my opinion, Biden will do nothing but cost votes for the Dems. What little chance they had to get any pro-gun votes was wiped away when Biden was put on the ticket. If the Dems were smart, they would have put a moderate Democrat with pro-gun views on the ticket. Their ticket now is solidly liberal, alienating the "blue dogs" so to speak, while the GOP has McCain who is more of a Ford-Rockefeller-Giuliani Republican, but he was wise enough to put Palin, who is a blue collar, pro-gun social conservative on the ticket. The GOP wants to get as many votes as they can and unify all sectors of the GOP, while the Dems seem convinced they can be as liberal as they want to be and still win on anti-Bush sentiment.

Looks like it will be the "Irascible Joe VS. Sarah Barracuda" contest for Veep.

"easily provoked to outbursts of anger; easily provoked or inflamed to anger; choleric; irritable; as, an irascible man; an irascible temper or mood"
