Tron... What you have there, in your picture, is a very rare specimen of the feline known as "felinepurrfingerlicker". These are only found in warm, comfortable, secure, safe, feline friendly enviroments. If, and I say if, you are ever able to capture this wild beast, be very careful handling it. From what I have experienced, having caught two of them myself, they are very prone to doing whatever they damn well please!! You may find yourself helpless to avoid having to pay more attention to it than you really want to..... Be forewarned!! Just my experience... Dan Thome (Trap2)

Thanks for the info Dan! This thing just won't stop bothering me....it will come into my bedroom and even stand on my chest at 5am until I wake up and feed it. Not sure if I want to actually try catching it....looks dangerous.

There are more than just one long tail in KS.
There is also one rumored to be north of Topeka, but no pics of it YET.

I've been savagely attacked by cougars on several occasions. They have a propensity to stalk their preferred younger prey at local honky-tonks no matter what part of the country you find yourself in. They're really scary when they sneak up on you!

I must also admit that back in the day my Navy buddies and I have gone out on organized cougar hunts--with mixed results. Of course what happens on the beach stays on the beach.

Many of the Coyote hunters in upstate NY think cats make good bait. When they see a sign that says "free kittens, they stop and take all of them.
