Word has been received this morning that Betty Wrestler of Kansas passed on last night after a long battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ronnie and the rest of the Wrestler Family.

Had the pleasure of shooting handicap with Betty once at the Grand. As memory recalls, she beat me bad. I asked her when we finished when she would give lessons..she replied "you just had your first" My condolences to her family. She is in my prayers.

Betty was a classy lady, nice person and a super ethical shooter. Always nice, friendly and kind. I hope God replaces her with someone just like her, since he has most assuredly taken her in with him.

So sorry to hear this news! Met Betty a few years ago when I hauled a carload of kids to Lone Tree for a Zone shoot. She was super and went out of her way to make us welcome.

We would cross paths a few time since and she would ask about the kids. God Bless

Iam very saddened to hear of this. Betty was a special friend who it seems I've known all my life. She was always very nice and in my younger days, like a trapshooting mom. I will miss her deeply.

Ron, condolences to you, the kids and all your family.

Also just heard that Nancy Kasberger, wife of eastern Kansas trap shooter John (older than dirt) Kasberger, died yesterday. John passed away in 2008.

    Nancy was 84.

I didn't realize that Beccy had already started a thread on here. Above is the obituary if anyone wants to read about all of Betty's accomplishments. Kansas has certainly lost one of their best.

My condolences to Ron and family ... God bless them. You are all in my prayers.

There wasn't a better combination of a finer person and tough shooter at the same time as Betty. She was always greeting her shooting friends at shoots with a smile and very supportive of other shooters and their accomplishments. I know the last few years were very tough for her, Ron, and the family and now she is in a better place.

My deepest condolences to Ron and their family.
