Well as we all know what the president did but I was talking to 1 of the guys at the club who owns a towing company. He was telling me how he had been hauling all these SO CALLED clunkers away for the local dealers. The cars and SUV and trucks over 90% of them appeared to be very nice vehicles and was a shame to have to blow the motors and junk them.

Now wouldnt it have made sense since the Govt. gave this program funding, they should have taken the cars and sold them to the people who actually had clunkers, eye sores, smoke puffers, who couldnt afford to buy a new car even with the 4500 deal. They could have cleaned up the actual bad ones and put nicer vehicles in the hands of those who needed them.

I am no Brainiac but I see what I see and know what I know, and I knowthere had to have been a better way to stimulate the public to upgrade vehicles and ways to help all not just the well off.

    Opinions are welcome!

    Jerry

Jerry, your idea makes too much sense.

Besides, this outfit has moved on to bigger, better things.

My thoughts exactly Jerry, I've ask the same question.

You have to remember, the Dems aren't about to HELP the poor, they want them kept that way!

That way, come election time they can come out and say "we feel your pain" but we have no intention of changing your status.

We have two single moms in our church, that are working their butts off trying to make ends meet and raise their kids right. Both of them could really use a car, any kind of car to get them to and from work, Dr. office, school, grocery, etc. We help all we can, but we have jobs too. It kills me to see perfectly servicable machinery destroyed (that I have to pay for) for the advancement some socialist agenda.
