I purchased a used Beretta top single berrel shotgun. The gun came with Mobile flush mounted, screw in chokes. Is it advisable to remove the choke each time I clean the barrel?

I always do. I clean the threads and re lube it. I have never had one freeze in there but others have. Plus I like to hold the tube in a gloved hand and use a barrel brush on a drill to remove plastic buildup in the tube ( after soaking it)

I would like to know how you clean the threads? Clean the barrel first, then remove the choke and relube it with Gun Slick or some other fine quality gun grease.
