I’ve been using the cheep wally world Easton batting gloves and I really like them. the leather makes my hands stick to the stock really well but they only last one or two shoots before they rip. I wait until the fall and get them for $5 a pair but it still gets expensive. So who makes a great pair of tight fitting shooting gloves that last?

Foot Joy golf gloves, the synthetic leather ones, sta dries, or something like that, feel like real soft thin leather, fit close, and will still be good three years later when you lose one. About 10 bucks apiece. The winter golf gloves, they come in pairs, are also great for colder shooting. I bought a pair last week at Golf Smith, the house brand, black, 11 bucks. gyrine

Another vote for The Gun Glove. I have been wearing them for about 3 or 4 years now. GREAT product................

Even in the colder temperatures, I simply wear a thermax ski glove liner underneath the Gun Glove, and it works well.

I like the Foot Joy because they have a very nonslip grip which is very important when slipery sweaty hands.

I have tried other shooting gloves that just don't have the grip.

What about The Gun Glove, does it have a better than average nonslip grip?

The Gun Glove beats all of the golf gloves I've used year round in Florida.

Baseball gloves work pretty well, you might try unpadded handball gloves!! They are great, a little thicker leather (they are real leather) they last, they absorb lots of sweat without getting slick, and washable.

I've had skin cancer twice on the top of my hands. Are the gun gloves close knit or open web?

The best Gloves out there are made by HATCH. They make all weather neoprene shooting gloves.Look for the model NS430 " Specialist " You will not be sorry.

I buy the Sam's club on sale 2 pack of Golf Gloves, stay soft for about $10 for the 2. I shoot alot and my hand sweats alot. The two gloves will last for more than a season and my season is 11 months. I have had the others but I can buy alot of golf gloves for what they cost. Don't buy the Bob Allens as they are junk.

I have been useing the Mechanix brand fingerless(index/middle) Framers model
I buy them at job lot 10$pair. For shooting, I end up misplaceing them before they wear out. I bought their winter gloves this year, but have not used them much. I had 2 sets of gun gloves, the fingers are to long and I end up with the tips flopping around.

Another vote for Gun Glove. I was using Hatch Specialist but the Gun Glove lasts much longer.

Trek gel bike riding gloves-- they last 10-20 times longer than golf or batting glove

They have to wear a long time because bike riders are very demanding

there are two weights of gel

you will notice with the gel that you wont feel as tired at the end of the day

18-24 dollars a pair at your local Trek dealer

    regards from Iowa

Nike and Franklin batters gloves work the best and last the longest ... I have been using them for years and have found nothing that works as good for warm and hot weather shooting when your hands sweat a lot ... I use them in the winter also but winter in Arizona is like spring anywhere else ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

thanks for the posts, I'll check out all the suggestions that i can. when i first started trap shooting i use a pair of thin goat hide work gloves after i wore those out i bought a new pair but they were way too slick. a friend of mine had a pair of bob allen gloves but they fell apart after a few shoots.
