Country Roads by John Denver is great.

If the WVU band is playing it in Morgantown on a fall afternoon, it is magic...

That David Allen Coe video was very good, but everyone knows the best song ever is God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood. Nobody can keep a dry eye when that comes on. Except Taliban.

First time I saw your face,
    Big Iron,
    Thunder Road,
    Anything by Roy Oberson,
    1812 Overture,
    Ride of the Valkries,

Mostly, I like old soul but have always liked anything that Charlie Pride sang. How about Bettys got her blue jeans on. Jackie B.

David Allen Coe's song may not be a best song, but I enjoy it every time I

FIRST, THE NATIONAL ANTHEM, SECOND THE MARINE CORPS HYMN,THIRD ANCHORS AWEIGH. I don't have anything against songs posted here but in my opinion these 3 are the best ever when performed properly. Woody Sullivan
