I recently bought a light trap vest, on line, from Gander Mountain for about 30 bucks. It 's really nice.

Why wear one at all? I see a lot more shooters not wearing one. Was glad the day I got rid of mine. Nubs Wagner.

I'm with Nubs. Most of the veteran shooters I know do without them; they are mostly used by newbies.

I should explain that I sweat at 65 degrees, so any excess clothing ( like a vest ) just makes me sweat worse. I do use padded t shirts, or henleys sometimes and sometimes just plain t shirts. I use the super gooey pads which really help in the recoil area. If it is really hot, I go with sleeveless shirts. Well, just my .02 worth. If you feel you must have a vest, there are many to choose from. Nubs Wagner

I do not currently use a vest as I think they are all to hot for me. I just thought it would make life simpler as no worry as to what shirt to wear for the day. . Kirk
