I have a 22 K-Hornet CZ-527 and I want to put a light weight scope on it for shooting sage rats. Have a Nikon 4 to 12 on it now but don't like it much. Optics don't seem to be very good from 6 power to 12. Got any suggestions on the best scope for this rifle. Most shots out here are less then 150 yards.

    Thanks, Del

If you like that power range, Leupold Vari-X II 4-12 40mm AO.

Fred is probably right but it is a European look with the big objective.

I also think a single power scope is what you want and agree with the other poster- probably 6X

Ditto what Eddie said. From experience, a 1.5 - 4X Bushnell Banner would be more than enough and very bright at dusk and dawn. Also depends on the accuracy of you and your gun.

Thanks a lot for the input. I like the simplicity of single power scopes. I use Leupold scopes on my huntine rifles. Guess I will look for a single power model. Sorry it took me so long to respond but I have been away from the computer for a while.

    Thanks, Del
