Stronger or longer lasting is two different things. They shortened or eliminated side ribs to avoid having to resolder them.

    After backboring it's anyone's guess.

You need to do a lot more research on Perazzi. Your questions reveal a basic lack of knowledge about the different models of Perazzi trap shotguns. Perazzi ribs, whether fixed or adjustable, traditional "full length" or the "international shorty" are all of equal quality and the strength and durability are more a function of how well you take care of them.

    Good luck.

Billyboy is refering to the side ribs (between the two barrels), and calling them "mid rib".

"Full length, half length, or mt6" (held together at the muzzle only).
